Sea Nymph Live Music!

Hello Sea Nymph fans! This past weekend we welcomed two lovely performers to the Jazz stage. Shannon Oherlihy wowed us with her hauntingly beautiful voice once again. The crowd was abuzz over her original tunes and interesting covers of some of our favorite songs. Senjata Witt followed Shannon's lead singing both covers of popular tunes and fantastic originals. It was truly a pleasure to host both these amazing musicians! This week the schedule shifts to Thursday and our monthly visit by Carmel Daines and KatRose Serendipity. Please come by and experience the fun these two awesome performers create! Whether it's folk, pop, country or a lil of everything mixed into a cool original, these ladies will surely show us all a great evening! Can't wait to see you there! Hello Everyone! Last weekend was one for the books! Not only did we have the amazing Maximillion Kleene performing live for us, we also had the awesome Rasbury Rearwin! Max was in top form as he entertained us with beautiful love songs, sexy dance songs and haunting ballads! He is truly a professional performer, giving us a full hour of aural pleasure! At the top of the hour he handed the musical reins to Raspbury, first runner up in the Ministry of Motions musician contest. Rasp gave a stunning performance including interesting covers and super cool original tunes! We all enjoyed the switch from guitar to piano and back as Raspbury gave us his all. The highlight of the nights events was the record breaking attendance! We hit 50 avatars at one point with surprisingly little lag. The night was a great success!

Coming up this week we have two wonderful artists to entertain us! Shannon Oherlihy will be up first dazzling us with both her beautiful voice and her touching renditions of classic, current and original songs. Following Shannon will be Senjata Witt, with her traditional Celtic to blues, bluegrass, folk, and Jazz, she's a versatile musician, with a laid back style, and a little something for everyone. Another successful trivia night set sail from the Nymph tonight and tonight's topic was TV commercials. There was a lot of laughter, lots of nostalgia and a lot of "OMG, really?!?" A great time was had by all!!!! The winner this week was Peppermint Starship, she got *14* questions right, WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!! Other winners this week were: EssL Erin, Toi Sparta, Thornton Wilder, Trimbor Slade, Wolfman Kappler, Scooterb Fall and Bihl Khondji!! Peppermint picked our next topic of "This is Jeopardy!" That's right, we're bringing the game to SL! I'll give you actual Jeopardy questions and answers, it could be from the main show, kids, teens, college, celebrity, even rock-n-roll!!! Come strain your brain with me in two weeks!! Next week we'll have our Back to the Future Ball, so stay tuned for that!!! It's going to be 1.21 gigawatts of awesomeness!!!

Come match wits with other Second Lifers and compete for the L$1000 prize in our weekly trivia contest. Sea Nymph Trivia host, the lovely Nymala Mikadze, will ask the questions and it's an exciting race to see who can get the answer out first. AU CLAIR DE LA LUNNA: A BENEFIT MUSIC FESTIVAL Wednesday January 6th

As you may or may not have heard Lunna Wilder had emergency back surgery the week before Christmas. The surgery left her with limited feeling in her legs; this can only be relieved by physical therapy. There are numerous bills, including the therapy, that her insurance will not cover and she will be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time. So, we've decided to throw a benefit music festival to raise money for Lunna's physiotherapy. Lunna has always been a big supporter of the SL music scene and she needs our help. All venue and artists tips will be donated to Lunna's recovery, so that she can come back and continue to make SL and SL's music scene a richer place.
